In most cases, the installation of PERMA-ROOF on a mobile home can be completed in just one day. However, for certain double-wide mobile homes or if additional elements such as patio covers are being installed, it may require a second day to complete the installation. Our dedicated crews will work efficiently and effectively to ensure that your new roof is installed as quickly as possible, with minimal disruption to your daily routine.
Does the Perma-Roof provide an overhang?
Certainly. Each PERMA-ROOF installation includes around one-foot overhangs on the long sides and six-inch overhangs on the short sides of your mobile home. These overhangs provide additional protection for the sides, door seals, window seals, and other vulnerable areas that are prone to leakage in mobile homes.
Can I walk on my Perma-Roof?
Certainly. You can walk on your PERMA-ROOF safely whenever you need to perform cleaning or access your water cooler, among other things. The PERMA-ROOF is designed to be extremely durable, so it would require significant effort to cause any damage.
How do you clean the Perma-Roof?
Maintaining and cleaning your Perma-Roof is a simple task that can be done using a mild detergent, a water hose, and a soft bristle brush. Power washing is not necessary and is not recommended.
What is Perma-Roof?
The Perma-Roof is a permanent steel roof-over system designed exclusively for mobile homes, certified by an architect. It provides a lifetime solution for protecting your mobile home and comes with an approximate 12" overhang on the sides and an approximate 6" overhang on the ends, providing added protection where mobile homes often experience leaks. If your mobile home already has an overhang, the Perma-Roof will provide a slight overhang to accommodate the fascia trim.
